Outplacement

Outplacement Service

Outplacement is the process of helping to find new employment for redundant workers. Companies offer their displaced employees Outplacement services either as a stand-alone benefit, or as part of a separation package that includes severance pay and a continuance of Employee Assistance Programs for prearranged period of time.

Employees have the skills necessary to be successful in the workplace and may be considered an expert in their field; this does not imply that they have the skills necessary to find success in their job search.

Using the group dynamics, topics and guidelines are presented and discussed, along with proprietary exercises in the workbooks. The displaced employee begins to understand the entire job search process, and how each component builds on the previous building block. At the end of attending the Outplacement workshops, the participants will:
